History

Lynnwood Animal Hospital (formerly Animal Hospital of Lynnwood) was established in 1991 by Dr. Tejinder Sodhi with the goal of providing the Lynnwood community with access to quality traditional veterinary medicine as well as options for integrative care for their pets.

During these early years, Dr. Tejinder Sodhi worked to further his education in alternative medicine and veterinary acupuncture while fostering the development of his growing practice. In 1996, he went on to build a second practice in the Bellevue community with a similar focus. Along the way, he also had the unique opportunity to mentor his daughter, Dr. Rupali Sodhi, who joined the practice in 2019.

In 2021, Lynnwood Animal Hospital celebrated 30 years of excellent veterinary service to the Lynnwood community!

Dr. Tejinder Sodhi made the decision to sell Lynnwood Animal Hospital so he could put his energy and focus into the Bellevue location. His priority was to ensure that the hospital remained independently owned and a practice where his daughter, Dr. Rupali Sodhi, would continue to build on the success of this traditional and integrative veterinary medicine practice. This led to Dr. Debra Nicholson and her organization, Veterinary Roots, taking the reins of Lynnwood Animal Hospital in 2024.

Dr. Debra Nicholson and Dr. Andrea Oas join Dr. Rupali Sodhi as they work to continue being an independent voice in the veterinary field while providing access to quality care focused on the health and the long-term well-being of the pets in their care.

Like all Veterinary Roots sister hospitals, Lynnwood Animal Hospital is also committed to supporting the work of its community nonprofits, including Homeward Pet Adoption Center, the Everett Animal Shelter, Rainier Animal Fund, PAWS, and The Noah Center.
