Alexa

Lead Veterinary Assistant

Alexa joined Lynnwood Animal Hospital as a Lead Veterinary Assistant in May 2025. With over a decade of veterinary experience, her passion for science and medicine, combined with her deep love for animals, make her a powerful addition to our team.

Growing up, Alexa was inspired by her family members who worked in the medical field and had always shown an interest in helping animals. In 2012, she turned her passion into a career by becoming a veterinary assistant. Since then, she has helped countless pets through her work in general practices and emergency veterinary medicine. She is thrilled to bring her years of experience and knowledge of emergency medicine to our team in a leadership role and plans to specialize in internal medicine or cardiology one day.

“I love to be supportive and encouraging to my team,” shared Alexa, “I try to share my experience working with ICU technicians and emergency veterinarians to bring different ideas to the workplace and help others improve their skills.”

Compassionate and understanding, Alexa is committed to helping owners create stronger bonds with their pets and believes open and intentional communication with her clients provides the most exceptional care for their pets. She is devoted to creating positive experiences for both patient and client on every visit.

Home Life

When she’s not working, Alexa enjoys spending time with her family, including her children and her pets, Blondie and Rocky.
