Dr. Franklin Vincenzi
DVM
Dr. Franklin Vincenzi’s roots in veterinary medicine can be traced back to his zookeeper grandfather and scientist father; both of whom influenced the path he is on today. As a veterinarian, Dr. Vincenzi has spent the last 25 years exploring work in general practice as well as some unique opportunities in zoo medicine and teaching. Now at Lynnwood Animal Hospital, Dr. Vincenzi is looking forward to continuing to hone his skills as a general practitioner with a focus on senior pet care and overall pet wellness.
“What I enjoy about my work in veterinary medicine is the opportunity to collaborate and build on the medical skills of our overall team,” shared Dr. Vincenzi. “It is our team’s own individual skills and life experiences that help augment and support patient care. I am passionate about what we can all accomplish together to help the pets in our care thrive for the duration of their lives.”
Volunteer Work
Dr. Vincenzi has taken the opportunity to provide support to such area nonprofits as the Prison Pet Partnership Program and the Seattle Animal Shelter Spay and Neuter Clinic, as well as previous work with Miles for Smiles Therapeutic Horse Riding Program, the Red Cross, and the Primate House at the Woodland Park Zoo.
Home Life
Dr. Vincenzi’s home life is one of relaxed comfort surrounded by a collection of beloved pets, including cats, horses, sheep, and goats. He is also an active beekeeper, maintaining a colony of honey bees. You will find Dr. Vincenzi in his downtime, as he would like to say, “just feeding too many animals.”
